GARDEN OF THE GODS | PROPOSAL | Noah + Julia

Sitting here trying to come up with the words to describe this weekend…So here’s the long story, short ;)

What I thought was just a typical trip for work, quickly turned into one of the best weekends OF MY LIFE. About a month ago Noah had been asking to go hiking somewhere, not uncommon since we both love the outdoors! The next week I got a few inquiries for Colorado sessions for the same weekend (one of the many reasons why I love this job of mine!!) I quickly messaged Noah and told him that this was a perfect place to go hiking and we planned a weekend out of it.

Friday morning I woke up hecka early for a sunrise session at Garden Of The Gods. Once I finished, I went back to pick up Noah and Chris (my brother + can't thank him enough for being the best and taking these photos for us), we got back to the park around noon and they were determined to hike the complete opposite way from where everyone else was. When they finally decided, we started our hike! We got to the top and casually took a few photos when Noah asked for one more photo. He started with “I know this trip was from the Lord…” My mind went blank and my heart started beating 100 MPH. I was so taken off guard (see first photo, HA!) and to be completely honest I don’t remember what was said after that until “will you marry me?” but it was hands down the easiest question I will ever answer!
There were problems with getting the ring through security, weather, location, and so many other things that I had no idea about but he still planned EVERYTHING BEHIND MY BACK and around my sessions… LIKE WUT?! This man has a heart of gold and I can't wait to do life with you, Noah!!
